Cloudflare’s broader Internet traffic-related Year in Review 2021 will be out in a few days from now. But it has given more than a hint of what’s coming by putting out an extensive blog post on what the Net traffic looked like in 2021, specially towards the end.
For the “Top Domains Ranking” in 2021, the fight was between Google.com, & well, TikTok. Eventually, said Cloudflare, TikTok.com won, at least in the last quarter of 2021.
In the same period – September to December of last year – Google had been on the top, while TikTok.com was only ranked #7 or #8.
The most popular domains this year according to the data on Cloudflare Radar were:
