VPN Cloudflare has launched WARP & WARP Plus to the general public. WARP is a mobile app for iOS Android that uses Cloudflare’s global network to secure all of your phone’s Internet traffic.
Cloudflare had announced WARP on April 1 this year & was expected to roll out over the next few months at a fairly steady clip by July. That didn’t happen, said Cloudflare on its blog, because of several tech reasons.
Between the announcement & the launch, about 2 million people signed up for the waitlist to try Cloudflare WARP.
The basic WARP service is free without bandwidth caps or limitations. The unlimited version of WARP Plus is available for a monthly subscription fee. WARP Plus is the even faster version of WARP that you can optionally pay for. The fee for WARP Plus varies by region.
WARP Plus uses Cloudflare’s virtual private backbone, known as Argo, to achieve higher speeds and ensure your connection is encrypted across the long haul of the Internet.
