We are starting a special section on Web3

That’s right. From Jan 1, 2022, we will have a special section on the stories around the 3rd version of the World Wide Web or Web3 as it is popularly known.

We can no longer ignore the growing interest in Web 3.0, Jack Dorsey’s view not withstanding. Some are calling it the “tipping point” of a new phase in the Web’s evolution. Others like Jack are dismissive. Whatever the case, Web3 is in the news all the time. This Website has always been about bringing you stories from the Edge, and Web3 represents just that.

In the past 12 months or so, we’ve already published more than a handful of stories around the new version of the Web. From 2022, our reportage will get even more concentrated. Whether original reporting, curated or syndicated, Whats New On The Net will be true to its name – & will bring you a whole lot more on the developments around Web3. Like the example below.

Those of you with Web3 stories can write in to us at whatsnewonthenet.com at gmail.com to get them published.

A click on the “Categories” section on the right hand navbar will take you to our Web3 stories. Alternatively, just search for Web3 or Web 3.0 in our Site search for the same.

Happy reading.
