YouTube announces new monetization plan for Shorts creators – Digital lifestyle

A new revenue-sharing model for You Tube Shorts creators has been announced.

According to YouTube, the strategy will enable creators to make more money. It said creators must agree to its revenue-sharing terms before Feb.1, 2023, in order to be eligible for the new model.

YouTube said in this post that monetizing partners will be able to earn money from ads that are viewed between videos in the Shorts Feed. This new revenue sharing model will replace the YouTube Shorts Fund.

Creators will be able to make money from adverts that are seen in-between videos in the Shorts Feed thanks to the significant update to YouTube’s Partner Program, according to the post. The YouTube Shorts Fund will be replaced by the new revenue sharing model, although according to the business, most of the recipients of the Shorts Fund would make more money under the new scheme.
