Take notes while you watch YouTube videos with “LunaNotes” – Startups

Don’t you often wish that you could capture the steps in a “How-to” video or remember an important URL given during video play? Well, with this new note taking app, LunaNotes, you no longer have to hit the replay button to seek out relevant information in a video you’re watching on YouTube. This Chrome extension allows you to simply take notes of a particular YouTube video, even while you are watching it.

This means that there’s no need to swap between the footage on screen & a separate app, which is often the system used by eager viewers wanting to jot down DIY steps or other instructions. Not only is the extension integrated with the “watching” experience, it actually pauses the video while you take notes, a very handy feature indeed.

In addition, LunaNotes is packed with tons of useful features so that you’ll never forget a fact from a YouTube video again. The new note taking app also allows users to add screenshots of the video, annotate them & even draw on the images if they so desire. Lunar Notes offers a rich note taking experience similar to many other ordinary apps, such as changing the font, text color & size & so forth, so that the final result is worthy of review anytime users need to come back to their YouTube video notes.

LunaNotes helps users concentrate on the video they’re watching & eliminates the need to, heaven forbid, take notes by hand. The extension is completely free to install & use on a desktop’s Chrome browser.

The extension, made by full stack developer, Fernando de la Rosa, is currently in beta, but Fernando promises that it will be under constant development. So users can expect lots of updates that’ll add new features.
