Microsoft has announced that Microsoft Teams Premium was now generally available.
Built on all-in-one collaborative platform of Microsoft Teams, Teams Premium for a monthly fee of US $10, brings the latest technologies, including Large Language Models powered by OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, to “make meetings more intelligent, personalized, & protected”, said Microsoft.
The AI infused Team Premium brings additional features like automatically generated meeting notes, recommended tasks, & personalized highlights.
With intelligent recap, users can now save time spent reviewing meeting recordings. AI-generated chapters divide the meeting into sections so it’s easy to pick & choose relevant Content. This is available today for PowerPoint Live meeting recordings.
Intelligent recap will automatically generate meeting chapters based on the meeting transcript as well. Personalized timeline markers — that only you can see — call out when you joined or left a meeting in the meeting recording, so you can quickly click and listen in on what you missed. Personalized timeline markers will expand to include when your name was mentioned & when a screen was shared.
There’s also the AI-generated notes feature. This allows the automatic creation of notes & actions using GPT-3.5. Follow-up is easy with AI-generated tasks and action items automatically suggested for you.
AI-generated chapters for PowerPoint Live & personalized timeline markers for when you leave & join a meeting are available today. With Teams Premium, you get AI-powered real-time translations from 40 spoken languages. Meeting participants can read captions in their own language.
