Easily manage YouTube videos using PocketTube – Startups

PocketTube for Safari is available for MacOS. The extension allows users to manage their YouTube subscriptions. The tool facilitates the creation & management of groups within YouTube’s interface.

Grouping subscriptions or channels by type offers users an improved user experience while using YouTube. Users can label collections using pre-prepared options or they can upload their own, which enables easy identification & smoother navigation. For instance, users can set up different groups for each of their interests & slot video channels that they subscribe to into categories such as music, DIY, sewing lessons & so forth. The extension has an inbuilt notification system, so when new videos are available in each category the user will be notified accordingly.

The extension also has a very useful filtering tool so that users can sort videos not only by Content, but by criteria such as length & date. Additionally, the tool auto-identifies dead channels, so that users can unsubscribe. There’s also a facility on the extension to sort videos into those already watched & new content, which is very useful, & means that users will not see old material that they might not, immediately, realize they’ve seen.

The tool is super simple to install on Safari & can be added to the browser in a few clicks. It fits, seamlessly, into the YouTube layout in-browser; no downloading of an external app necessary.

Another cool feature of the extension is its multi-unsubscribe tool, which offers users the option to cancel subscriptions for several channels simultaneously. This saves a lot of effort since users will not need to go through their subscriptions manually to see if they are still active or producing valuable content.

The tool is also available for a variety of other operating systems, including Chrome. Pocket Tube, founded by Dima Nabok, also offers mobile apps for Android & Safari. To find out more on all available options, visit PocketTube’s Website.
