Also, social media Sites & other advertisement network as well as advert application use this information to serve specific & personalized advertisement to you. As regards to hiding your identity while browsing the Internet, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is usually used. A VPN connection creates a secure connection between your device itself & the Internet. While using a VPN, all data traffic is channelled through an encrypted virtual path. This changes your IP address when you use the Internet, thereby masking your location & making you invisible to everyone.

Another way to browse the Internet securely is through the use of HTTPS. Users of the Internet are actually encouraged to adopt HTTPS so as to secure Website connections. HTTPS is an Internet communication protocol that protects the integrity & confidentiality of data between the user’s computer & the Website. Users expect a secure & private Online experience when using a Website.

So far, the simplest way to browse privately is by using secure browser applications. Most of these browsers have the secure browsing mode as a built-in option to browse privately while some of the browser applications are entirely secure. There are many advantages of private browsing. For one, it protects your data & information while you are both on & off your browsing device. Information such as your account log in details & passwords are totally protected. Normally, a regular browser  leaves a long trail of your browsing history which is available for use by many sites, but private browser clear or deletes all the entire browsing history, user data, & cookies.
