“Txtmoji” encrypts text to emojis & protects the message with a password – Startups

Secret messages have always been fun. Children (& adults) have enjoyed using invisible ink for ages. However, sending encrypted messages on the World Wide Web isn’t so easily done. With this in mind Deepankar Bhade developed Txtmoji, an application that encrypts plain text to emojis & protects the message with a password.

Users of this fun application simply need to fill out a form on the Txtmoji Website, by entering the text they want to encrypt. The application takes the string & outputs a set of emojis, which the user can copy. The user has the option to enter a password along with the secret message that they can give to the recipient.

The recipient of the secret message, can then in turn, enter the set of emojis & the password on the form provided for the purpose on Txtmoji website, & read the unencrypted text.

Obviously, since the message is encrypted, it can be posted anywhere for the recipient to copy. Only the password key needs to be given as a private DM (Direct Message). Rather cute application that is probably just the thing for starcrossed young lovers.
