Blue tick & Elon Musk not withstanding, some Twitter users are contemplating moving to other networks. One of them is “Mastodon”. The social network says it now has over 655,000 users – with over 230,000 having joined in the last week.
While Mastodon looks like Twitter – account users write posts (called “toots”), which can be replied to, liked & re-posted, below the hood things are very different as compared to Twitter.
