WinZip
Although WinZip is more popularly used to open zip files, it can also be used to open other file formats as well including RAR folders. To open your RAR file using WinZip, launch the software & click on File>Open to open the RAR file you intend to unzip.
All the files within the RAR folder will be displayed & you can select the ones you intend to extract by left-clicking on them while holding the CTRL-key. You can then select the “unzip” option & choose the destination folder either on your PC or Cloud.

PeaZip is a free tool for opening zip files & other compressed file formats. To use PeaZip, you simply have to open the RAR file within the PeaZip application & click the extract button or double click on the file. There is also an option to convert the file to another format directly. You can also use PeaZip to open RAR files whose extension are no associated with PeaZip opener by default. Simply right-click on the file & select “Open as archive” option & the Content of the folder will be displayed.
7-Zip
7-Zip is another free & easy to use RAR file opener. The beauty of this tool is that you can access most of its features by simply selecting the file & using the menu displayed when you right-click on it. Once the menu displays, hover over 7-zip & you can then proceed to choose the desired action from the list of options provided.

This tool works for most of the popular archives including RAR file format. The process of opening RAR files with this tool is pretty much the same as the rest. Simply right-click on the file you intend to open & select the desired option from the menu displayed.
