Creators on “Fanfix” can earn some big bucks – Startups

“Fanfix” was founded in 2021 by Cameron Dallas, Harry Gestetner & Simon Pompan. The startup was acquired by SuperOrdinary, a company that connects brands with influencers, in 2022.

Fanfix offers influencers from sites such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok a method of creating Content for their fan base that they can monetize. There’s a lot of buzz about the platform because word on the Net has it that some content creators are earning as much as $80 000/annum on the Site (we’ve not verified this). As a result, Fanfix has become the go-to app for young content creators, who are choosing the platform over more established sites such as Patreon.

Reports from SimilarWeb show that Fanfix receives around $1.2 million visits per month, which is staggering considering that the content these visitors are rushing to consume is all paid content. Fanfix enables its creators to set up a monthly subscription service and charge their fans for exclusive Content. The creator receives 80% of the funds they earn while the platform’s commission is set at 20%.

Creators have to apply to become a Fanfix creative and one of the requirements is that the influencer must have an established fan base of at least 10, 000 people. If accepted, the creator can set up a subscription service and charge in various ways such as, set their own prices for subscriptions, earn tips on posts andcharge for private messaging.

One of the biggest draw cards for the platform is that the owners moderate Content and do not allow nudity, pornography or violence. Other similar platforms such as Patreon & Onlyfans, do allow NSFW content. Young creators and their fans prefer Fanfix’s approach.
