Coming on Oct 28: YouTube Red, an ads-free subscription service

YouTube red

YouTube will launch on October 28 YouTube Red, a membership-driven plan designed to allow users to watch videos without ads. The catch – they will have to pay a premium.

YouTube Red will also let users save videos to watch offline on your phone or Tablet & play videos in the background, all for US $9.99 a month. Your membership will extend across devices & anywhere you sign into YouTube, including the recently launched gaming app & the brand new YouTube Music app that it launched today.

YouTube Red works with Google Play Music, so users may subscribe to one & automatically get access to the other.

And starting early next year, YouTube Red will introduce member-only access to new, original shows & movies from some of YouTube’s biggest creators.
