App for kids lets them share pics in the moment – New app

With crowd as young as 15 hooked to social media networking, can kids be far behind? ‘Klush’, an iOS multimedia messaging app for kids, lets them entertain themselves & their friends even as they explore the popular social media platform.

Ephemeral meaning short-lived or transitory is a concept made fashionable by SnapChat & now embraced by many social media sharing apps.

Klush essentially allows the user to shoot a selfie or a photo & share it with friends or family. However, this for the moment. In essence, the photo’s lifespan on the app is for 24 hours only.

Kids can use their photos to convey messages, conjure an emotion or simply entertain by creating a fleeting glimpse of their artwork. They can decorate their images with stickers, poke friends & entertain themselves & their groups with these antics.

Klush offers to give users the freedom to enjoy silliness by sprucing up photos or videos captured with only fun in mind. Nothing too serious here, as it’s a toy for “Cool kids”, as Klush calls its target audience. Moreover, youth can use the app to make an impression on their social group using photos or videos.

The makers claim that the app is all about fun. The app description on the App Store, suggests it can be used by children as young as 5.

Klush version 4.0 offers features as:

  • Ephemeral photo or video sharing
  • News section
  • Stickers
  • Pokes
  • Profile section

The app requires iOS 11 or later. It is available for Apple devices like iPad, iPhone or iPod.

The makers claim the app can be used to entertain both, kids in the family or the inner child in you by decorating pictures with the help of its tools. You might not have the opportunity to see your ‘art’ later, but you’re going to have a blast making it, they say.
