It’s important to note that this feature doesn’t grant you a complimentary blue checkmark next to your Threads username. To acquire that, you’ll likely have to pay Meta. However, the recently launched capability serves a different purpose – it allows you to establish ownership of a linked Threads profile on external platforms.
