Google has added a new feature in product searches to sync with the upcoming holiday season.
It said on its blog, The Keyword, that coupon codes, though a great way to save, are difficult to find.
To help shoppers save money and time, Google was now bringing promotions front & center in product searches.
Google said its new promotion badge will show up in Search on items running a promotion (like “15% off with coupon code HOLIDAYS”). Searchers can now see specific promotions & compare them to others right in Search.
Searchers will also now benefit from a new coupon clipping feature, which will allow them to copy promo codes when ready to buy. These new features will roll out in the coming weeks.
