‘My Card’ makes it easy to share your ‘Gram’ – New app

Instagram sharingTrends dictate that personal profiles are digital in today’s social media & app driven world. Changes in how connections are made & pursued mean that it’s no longer viable to simply hand out real-paper cards in situations where a potential client, employer or just ‘that’ gorgeous guy/girl want contact details so that they can get hold of you later.

Consider a girl with an Online modeling profile, most of her portfolio will probably be on Instagram. Now, imagine that she is approached by a potential client in a social situation, say, at a party. A business or personal card isn’t going to do her much good in this scenario. What she needs to do is share her photos & work history, instantly.

Enter, ‘My Card’. This smartphone app is a virtual business card, but instead of listing contact details & text-based résumés, My Card allows users to share the URL of their Instagram profile in 1 simple maneuver. We’re making it easier than ever to share your Instagram profile with others. Simply enter the handle you want to share and have your new friends scan the code with their iOS camera app

By signing up on the app, users can connect to their Instagram profiles by entering their Instagram handle. This personal identifier can then be shared with contacts via a code generated by the app for scanning by the IOS camera app. Profile details available on demand & no hunting through Instagram needs to be done, it’s all ready to go with 1 click of a camera shutter.

My Card requires IOS 11.0 or later & is available for iPhone, iPad & iPod. The app download link is presented on the app as a scan in code, allowing users to share it in the same way as sharing their profile.
