Leading CRM platform Salesforce has announced it was acquiring Slack Technologies, Inc. that runs well-known communication platform, Slack.
Salesforce announced in a press release that under the agreement between the two, Slack shareholders will receive US $26.79 in cash & 0.0776 shares of Salesforce common stock for each Slack share, representing an enterprise value of approximately $27.7 billion based on the closing price of Salesforce’s common stock on November 30, 2020.
Combining Slack with Salesforce Customer 360 will be transformative for customers & the industry.
Slack will be deeply integrated into every Salesforce Cloud as the new interface for Salesforce Customer 360.
