The top developer is estimated to have made around $3 million in 2020, while several others earned $1m – $2m each. The top creators are currently earning around $250,000 per month.
Who Built Roblox?
Founded by David Baszucki (known as Builderman on Roblox) & Erik Cassel in 2004 & released in 2006, the platform hosts user-created games of multiple genres coded in the low-code programming language Lua. Baszucki is reportedly worth $2.8 billion after a January funding round that valued Roblox at $29.5 billion. He plans to take Roblox public through a direct listing on March 10.
