deaSpaceVR is a light-weight open-source content management system (CMS) designed for creating publishing & managing virtual reality (VR) content & highly interactive 3D Websites.
This platform seeks to make it possible for developers & VR or 3D Content creators to manage their projects the same way they would manage blog posts.
IdeaSpaceVR isn’t a development framework but a CMS platform for managing VR Content for mobile, desktop & VR devices. It is a self-hosted platform which means users can simply install it on their own servers. All they would need for this is PHP & a database such as MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL. The platform is multi-lingual which means you can create any project you want in your own language.
On IdeaSpaceVR, users can easily download & install already built themes for VR/3D Sites or simply create their own themes using the IdeaSpaceVR API. Projects you can create on this platform include 3D artist portfolio, interactive videos, VR blogs or a 360 photo tour among others. You can seamlessly share created spaces on social media or embed it on your existing Website.
IdeaSpaceVR was built using open source projects like Laravel & uses A-frame for creating a rich VR & AR experience. All IdeaSpaceVR themes work seamlessly on mobile & desktop devices. It has been tested to work on most modern browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, & Oculus browser. IdeaSpaceVR also supports out of the box VR headset devices.
This platform is focused on creativity & Content creation. According to the company’s mission statement, the goal is to make it possible for anyone to create interactive VR & 3D Content, bundle them as themes & share them quite conveniently.
