Live video streaming app Meerkat is about to launch on Android soon. This app that has taken the Twitter world by storm, has posted a Web form that asks people to sign up for its Android beta version.
Meerkat had earlier come to Google Play, albeit unofficially. You can use this to watch streams from mrk.tv links on Twitter. Named after a creature found in Africa, the Meerkat app is a ‘live’ video streaming app that works through your Twitter account. The idea is to give Twitter users a 1 button push to stream video over Twitter. After you download the app, you can write down what you wanna say, & press the “Stream” button. When you do that, the feed syncs with your Twitter account & all your Twitter followers can see your ‘live’ video Content.
