Made-in-France media monitoring app ‘mention’ gets new interface

French startup mention, which is a real time media monitoring tool, has just had some “spring cleaning”, as it has announced on its blog.

What it means is that mention recently introduced a fresh interface that is more flatter in design & will help members navigate the dashboard a little more easily. Launched in 2012, mention allows members to follow any type of media Online, even Twitter mentions, & stuff like that. The minute a keyword gets mentioned on the social networks or a post gets a ‘like’, members are alerted to it.

Mention is a media monitoring app that combines Web & social networks. It claims to have over 250,000 daily users across 140 countries. Mention’s Web app can be used on a PC & across mobile devices. It allows users to share & react to their mentions. The app is said to be ideal for companies, brands & community managers tracking their core sectors. Essentially, this is a tool that helps you start “listening” to what’s being said on the Web & social Web, & then helps you react quickly in order to collaborate, & analyze your Online presence.  All from one window.

The re-design of its interface will also now mean better collaboration between team members including a feature that allows the team leader to easily assign mention to team members.

Mention allows members to monitor millions of sources in 42 languages in order to ensure that they are not missing anything published on the Web & on the social networks.

All this of course comes at a price. Mention offers a basic plan which is free, but for more involvement, there are 3 paid plans. These guys will even offer you a custom-made Enterprise plan if you need it for the entire company.
