Make your Web surveys interesting with ‘chatform’

online survey

‘Chatform’ is a tool that helps you to turn your Online survey into a conversation, irrespective of the messaging platform you have. On the other end, your users are able to respond to your survey forms while you supervise using Slack or other business systems that i.e., with Smooch.

In addition, chatform helps make you make the surveys interesting in comparison to the Web forms used in current surveys. According to its developers, this will obviously improve your survey completion rates. You just build a form & distribute it over messaging channels such as Telegram, Facebook Messenger, WeChat among others.

The tool’s AI is built on Smooch, which is a multi-channel messaging platform. This means you can embed the Smooch Web Messenger into any element of your Web app. By doing this, it makes chatform Web native as well as able to integrate with other chat apps.

How chatform works

After creating the convo form, chatform will ensure the chat with your users stays open. To use chatform on your messaging app such as Telegram, the developers claim that you just need to link users to your identity on Telegram i.e http://telegram.me/chatformdemobot.

After linking your users, you then trigger the survey form to be sent in a message to the user. The user will get back to you over the messaging of your choice, in this case, Telegram. You just need to input a keyword on the form. Upon calling it, chatform AI will take the user through your survey form.

In addition, you can use Smooch iOS & Android SDKs to your mobile app. This allows you to have messaging dialogue in your app. Chatform also allows you to run survey over SMS & email, hence breaking the monotonous experience of products such as TypeForm which is still tied to the Web. The tool is available as an open source project, hence, you can build something unique to your demands on Github using the code they have provided for you.

Its developers include Lucie Le Touze a UX/UI designer, & Mike Gozzo who is the Head of Product at Smooch. The startup’s headquarters is in Montreal, Canada.
