“Internxt” offers secure storage – Startups

Everyday millions of people all around the world create data, pictures, files & videos; we’re living in the age of information overload. The thing is that all this data needs to be stored & storage is mostly costly. “Internxt”, a startup based in Spain & founded by Fran Villalba Segarra, is disrupting the Cloud storage market by offering a privacy-first product that promises to encrypt all data & keep it safe.

Internxt offers a myriad of apps for their product, so whatever device you’re using they’re sure to have something suitable; whether it’s Web based, mobile or desktop (iOS, Android, Linux, Windows & Mac). They have a generous free plan, too.

All files on the platform are fully encrypted at all times, ensuring privacy. Also, Internxt promises that it will never sell their clients’ data for advertising or any other purpose. When compared to several services, such as Dropbox, Tresorit, One Dive, or Google Drive it’s clear that Internxt offers a more comprehensive, security centric product than its competitors, at a better price.

The technology & software that drives Internxt’s products is fully open source & it offers file sharing & unlimited bandwidth as standard features. Encryption is AES-256, which is claimed to be rock-solid. Internxt’s multi-app approach means that users can access their files across their devices. Many people work on a computer at work, but on mobile when on the run, which means that they need to access their files from different devices, a problem easily solved if using Internxt.

Organizing, filtering & searching for files on app is easy due to Internxt’s advanced categorization & syncing tools. Any files can be renamed, moved between named folders & backed up – so that there’s never a concern about losing important data. Internxt fragments all files stored on its Cloud – files are broken up on upload & stored, in pieces, on hundreds of different machines around the world, meaning that no one, not even a hacker can ever gain access to a complete file.
