Google will auto-configure user accounts for 2-step verification – News

Google has rolled out more security features. As part of it, the tech co has decided to “keep users safe” by deciding to automatically configure all users accounts into a more secure state. Which means by the end of 2021, Google plans to auto-enroll an additional 150 million Google users in the 2-step verification (2SV) & require 2 million YouTube creators to turn it on.

Another feature rolled out was in the Google app that allows users to access all of the passwords saved in Google Password Manager right from the Google app menu. These enhancements are designed to make the password experience easier and safer—not just on Google, but across the Web.
