Email management that flows oh so smooth – #Startups

email management

[sg_popup id=”12″ event=”onload”][/sg_popup]Everybody will agree that emails are a great way to communicate. Most business & company correspond these days via this medium. Whether one want’s to schedule a meeting or set up an appointment or even remind someone of a task they ought to do, email is one of the better ways to do it.

What isn’t great, however, is that sometimes a person will get so many emails that it becomes difficult to stay on top of what they are required to do. Having to go through hundreds of emails just to find an appointment doesn’t seem like the best use of time. On this front, ‘Flow-E’, a Web app launched in 2017, can help users manage their Inboxes better.

Flow-E allows the user to turn their mailboxes, whether Gmail or Outlook, into a visual task board. It uses the concept of a Kanban board system. Flow-e is a visualization layer on top of your Gmail or Outlook Inbox. Simply put, this board is divided into 3 columns. The columns may go by different names but they basically represent 3 different states of work. The 1st one is the “To Do” column where everything that needs to be done is scheduled. The 2nd is the “Doing” column & this one prioritizes work that is already underway but not yet complete. The last is the “Done” column for completed tasks.

The Flow-E dashboard, once integrated, is available from the user’s mailbox, meaning one won’t have to switch between tabs so as to schedule their work in the various columns. Adding an email to the “to do” column is just a simple matter of dragging & dropping it. Also available is a timeline where the user can visualize various reminders & meetings.

There are various power-ups available on the app. They represent additional features that the user has access to. Among these are “group cards,” “due dates,” “delegation,” “to do’s,” “cards without email”, & more. These serve different purposes. For example, the delegate power-up will allow the user to assign work to other Flow-E users. Consequently, they will also be able to monitor progress.

Flow-E is a subsidiary of Businessmap LTD, which is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria.

There are 2 subscription modes for the app’s service – free & paid.
