Virtual Reality (VR) is increasingly becoming part of our lives, & so are VR glasses such as the now-famous Oculus Rift. Among the few out there, Dlodlo VR Glasses, unveiled at the CES Asia in May this year by DLODLO Technologies, is billed as the world’s “lightest” VR glasses.

The wireless & ultra-lightweight Dlodlo VR Glasses weigh in at just 4 ounces – 4 times lighter than your usual VR headsets.

Dlodlo VR Glasses is also portable & comfortable, having the look & fit of sunglasses. It offers full HD 2K resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio & a 120Hz refresh rate for a display without dizziness, lag, distortion, or screen door effect. Dlodlo also supports 2D/3D switch video, 4K video displays & a 110° Field of View (FOV) for a no- border fully immersive VR experience.

The best feature of the glasses is that it doesn’t need to be connected to other devices through a computer or specific type of smartphone. Dlodlo VR Glasses has its own DLOS VR ROM running on an Android 4.4 OS with built-in Bluetooth 4.0. It works with any Bluetooth-enabled device, including laptops, smartphones, Tablets, gaming devices, speakers, headsets, & more.

It has its own 2000mAh rechargeable battery, a built-in microphone, multi-language support, & micro USB 2.0, OTG & stereo headphone connectors. It also has an interactive mode with touch & move-enabled controls. What’s more, you don’t need corrective glasses to adjust the vision. Dlodlo will itself adjust from 58mm to 70mm to help with vision problems.

“At Dlodlo, we’ve adopted an optical imaging system with perfectly combined optical technology and physical hardware using safe, skin-friendly material that’s as light to wear as sunglasses,” said Li Gang, CEO, Dlodlo. “Our VR glasses provide a distortion-free top quality 2K Full HD resolution display with biomimetic eye contrast ratio and definition design, so the user has a wonderful visual feast when using the Dlodlo VR Glasses.”

Priced at US $699, you can buy Dlodlo VR Glasses in 3 colors – black, ivory, & champion gold. The Shenzen, China-based DLODLO Technologies Co., Ltd. was founded by Li Gang, the company’s CEO.
