The new update process for Windows 10….. & everything in-between

The much-awaited OS from Microsoft – Windows 10 – will start rolling out in a phased manner from tomorrow, July 29, 2015.

It’s been a roller-coaster ride for Microsoft, to say the least. The runup to the launch has seen various ups & downs; sometimes, even ridiculed by the Windows user community, & even rivals. Like for example, the controversy around the auto-updates of Windows 10. Testers had complained about the manner in which the entire update sequence had been programmed, leaving users with little control. Now, according to Online reports, that’s set to change. Users can use a tool that allows them the option of either blocking or hiding any updates from Microsoft.

Since there are barely 24 hours left for the official launch of the final version of Windows 10,we thought we would bring for the benefit of our readers, some of the highlights of the new OS as well as related aspects such as how to download it, etc. Have a good read.
