Cross-browser Cloud tool takes screenshots, quickens compatibility testing – #Startups

‘LAMBDATEST’ is a cross-browser Cloud tool which integrates with WordPress to assist in measuring performance of Web pages or blogs across more than 2000 specifications.

The digital environment is populated by a multitude of varying devices – all of which have different screen sizes & display specifications. This fact causes confusion for Website developers & owners since any Site, blog or mobile app must validate & look good on all devices & across all operating systems. For Website developers, this is a particularly important aspect as Google has changed their indexing priority to a ‘mobile first’ approach. This means that Sites that do not make the grade, will not be featured in search results.

The prime issue here, is that it’s enormously awkward to test resources on all devices to ensure that they come up to scratch. Whether it’s a blog or e-commerce Site. A Website in production or ‘live’ testing must be done on all aspects of UI & functionality.

LAMBDATEST claims to facilitate screen capture from inside WordPress admin panel as well as on the frontend of the system, thereby enabling developers or Site owners to detail the UI at any stage of production. Once captured, developers may share screenshots among team members or with clients. LAMBDATEST works with standard debugging tools too, namely, Jira, Asana, GitHub, Slack, as a Chrome extension & also with custom systems by request.

The WordPress Plugin can be downloaded Online from LAMBDATEST’s Website or installed directly from WordPress plugin directory. Pricing is multi-tiered, with a free option which allows 6 to 10 minute sessions per month which can be shared among 3 users. Potential clients needing a custom solution can approach the team via their Website to request a demonstration.
