A Brazilian startup where businesses search for customers, not the other way round

new startup

Every now & then, there comes a new challenger to search engine Google. Brazilian entrepreneur Alexandre Cardoso has launched a startup called Gloadd, which he claims, will give Google a run for its money. In fact, the new startup has been under wraps for almost 5 years, 1 that Alexandre claimed in a written statement, shall “invert the Internet & the market.”

“Now it’s the consumer who will have a global address, & companies will come to him to offer exactly what he’s looking for,” explained the founder of Gloadd. That explains the “inversion”.

The way the new startup will work is this – when a consumer wants to purchase anything Online, say a car or clothes, he need not search no more. After creating his global address at Gloadd, the potential customer only needs to define his interests. Then, he/she can sit back as companies in the market will come to him/her to offer whatever he desires, without his having to perform any search or look for companies or salesmen.

Besides being a unique way of searching Online, this “inversion of the Internet” & the market will bring benefits not only to the consumers, but also to companies, claimed the Gloadd team. In addition to understanding the public’s true demands according to business sector & location, businesses will have the opportunity to reduce their costs, since they will be able to offer their products directly to those who intend to acquire them, without having to pay for clicks or for Adwords.

Here’s the difference between Gloadd & Google

Gloadd claims it has created an innovative business model which impacts directly on Google’s operations, since the Internet inversion eliminates the need to use a search engine, which consequently reduces the income that comes from Google advertisers.

With worldwide activity, a multi-market platform – dealing with both products & services – & a micro-franchising system which boosts its expansion around the world, this startup claims it has what it will take to compete on a level with Google.

Going by what the new startup says, another difference between Gloadd & Google is that, on a search engine, when the user closes his search, that search ends, but on Gloadd, once the consumer defines his interests, even if he is no longer connected to the company’s platform, the market continues to work for him until he receives the offer which best attends his needs.

Gloadd does much more than just make commercial connections. 1 of the objectives of the founder of this startup is that the company’s platform should also be used to benefit social projects connecting people who have extreme needs with those who are interested in helping to change the lives of these people. “For example, a shoe company from any continent is able to identify & donate products for refugees & children from Iraq or Syria,” said Alexandre.

Gloadd Around the World

Gloadd includes its own social network in its platform. In the coming days, users will be able to create their own page with their own Content. The new startup has a minimalist visual style & intuitive interface.

Gloadd intends to become active in over 30 countries & more than 5,000 cities. Its micro-franchising system, besides enabling its rapid global expansion, will allow business people around the world to earn money using the company’s platform.
