Is the use of digital voice assistant over-hyped? At least this new survey by SUMO Heavy seems to indicate so.
Of the over 1,000 adults interviewed in the US, almost half of them, i.e. 46% said they had never used virtual assistants. About 19% used them “rarely” (less than monthly). Which means these 2 groups made up 65% of the audience.
The daily & weekly uses were about 29%, & most used it on their smartphones. Obviously. Only 15% of those polled used it on the desktop (15%).
