Boston startup launches image & video storage device called Bevy

There was a time when images were clicked by mostly professional photographers, that too at events such as weddings, birthdays, & so on. Now, with the advent of the Internet & mobile phones, & easy to use apps & cameras, everyone’s turned into a photographer. So you have images & video clips stored on your mobiles, computers, USB sticks, email accounts & so on. The result: it can get confusing to trace ’em back.

Boston startup Lineage Labs tries to solve this pain point. Having raised US $4 million in seed funding recently, this startup has launched Bevy, an image/video storage kit. The latter is like an endless photo album for your family that all its members can contribute to & share – all from one place. The company claims all your images will be safe on Bevy, protected with secure backup in the Cloud if you like. But the plus point is these images can be accessed from anywhere, through the Bevy mobile app.
