At the CES 2020, open-source kit developer Arduino showcased a new modular development board, the Portenta H7, which promises to enable more advanced Internet of Things (IoT) prototyping. The board will be released next month.

The new kit will enable enterprises to “quickly and securely” connect remote sensors to business logic within one simple IoT application development platform, said Arduino on its official blog.

Combining a low-code application development platform with modular hardware makes tangible results possible in just one day. This means companies can build, measure, and iterate without expensive consultants or lengthy integration projects.
