A flagging Alexa means some improvements & new features. That’s precisely what Amazon has done. Its now launched, “Create with Alexa”, a story-telling feature that “uses advances in conversational & generative artificial intelligence (AI) to empower young storytellers to build unique stories with a narrative arc, colorful graphics, & fun, complementary background music.”
Announcing this on its Site, Amazon said the animated stories then come to life on the screen of your Echo Show devices. Largely targeted at children, all the latter need to do is say the simple phrase, “Alexa, make a story,” follow a few prompts, & Alexa takes over — generating a unique & original narrative based on the child’s preferences.
What’s more, for each scene, the AI also composes an illustration, background music, & sound effects. The child’s choices of character, setting, & other variables dictate the direction the story goes. What’s more, no 2 stories are the same.
