AWS announces “Clean Rooms” for marketing & sales data – Digital marketing

Amazon has introduced an initiative called the AWS for Advertising & Marketing. It features new & existing capabilities from AWS & AWS Partners used globally for their advertising & marketing technology workloads.

“AWS for Advertising & Marketing” includes the newly announced AWS Clean Rooms. This, announced Amazon, was a new analytics service that helped brands, media publishers, & ad tech companies securely analyze & collaborate on their combined datasets — without sharing or revealing underlying data.

With AWS Clean Rooms, customers can create a secure data clean room in minutes, & collaborate with any other company on the AWS Cloud to get audience insights, advertising measurement, & advertising attribution. AWS Clean Rooms provides a broad set of configurable privacy-enhancing controls —including query controls, query output restrictions, & query logging — that allow companies to customize restrictions on the queries run by each clean room participant.

AWS Clean Rooms will be available in preview in a few weeks.
