Anyone who’s been involved in getting a startup off the ground knows how difficult it is to get going & how hard it can be to publicize & market the new project. ‘Instaaa’ is a tool that can be used to promote a business or Website on 365+ directories with a single click.
There are automated promotional tools available but they can get you in trouble by marking your domain as spam. Instaaa is a 1 stop solution that asks you for a pitch, or you can provide them with some basic details & it will prepare 1 for you, then they’ll manually submit your startup or entity to a large list of sites that specialize in Online promotion.
The whole process can be broken down into 3 steps:
- Submit your startup – Share some details about the startup with Instaaa. The information is reviewed & the startup is added to the waiting list.
- Promotion – The startup is submitted to 365+ directories. Some of the more interesting & well known ones are: Hacker News, Reddit, Product Hunt, Startupwizz, Angel.co, Betalist…
- Traffic – Instaa emails you with a breakdown of the submissions made on your behalf & further details
Since the process of preparing the submissions & sending them out to the various directories is free & Instaaa’s resources are limited, there can be quite a waiting list. If you want to skip the wait you can promote your startup immediately by paying a 1 time fee of US$ 129.
According to Instaaa founder & New Zealand resident Ryan Heybourn, the submissions are personally handled by him & a small staff of Reddit editors. The submission process is transparent & public & can be checked on live here as it develops.
Ryan claims that the process has already proved successful for a number of companies. Although quite young, he has a bit of experience building startups, like Flounder, which hosts Online startup weekends & has brought his expertise to bear on this interesting new project.
