With ‘Interact’ you can conduct ‘live’ actionable coding job interviews – #Startup

Hiring programmers can be difficult, especially when trying to decide how well a potential hire codes. ‘Interact’ lets a company’s team conduct real time collaborative programming interviews & objectively evaluate the performance of the candidates.

With Interact you can interchange messages with your candidate during an interview or switch on the video call to talk to the candidate directly. After you make each coding question, you’ll be able to grade how well the candidate’s responded, & give an emoji (1 of 5, ranging from very bad to very good) to give a score for that question.

When the interview’s over, you get a detailed report based on the candidate’s performance. So you avoid manually keeping track of how the interview is going & you can concentrate on what the candidate is actually doing while you conduct the interview.

The service was designed to facilitate conducting real time tech interviews by letting you choose from 5000+ questions in 50 different skill categories. When using Interact, you’re pretty much guaranteed a high level of consistency in your interview process, which gets rid of the dreaded uncertainty in the quality of your hire, or on their fit to your team.

According to Amrit Aacharya, COO of Xobin, the Bengaluru, India-based company responsible for development of Interact, enterprises save an average of 50 hours per hire employing this system & it can be integrated with major Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), like Google Hire, Recruiterbox & Greenhouse.

As can be seen in the pricing page for Interact, there’s a free version available that allows for 50 candidate invitations, interviews & assessments for 1 user & limited access to the question library. A ‘Startup’ package is available for US $1,990/year, with unlimited invitations & interviews, access to the full 5000+ question/50+ skills library & 3 users. An ‘Enterprise’ package is also available on demand.
