Texting is an important part of how most of us work. That is why this app may be of some interest to our readers.

‘Gyst’ is an app that integrates texts, contacts, calendar & tasks. All of it in 1 productivity app. The app uses SMS messaging so that you can communicate with anyone irrespective of them having Gyst or not.

Gyst will get your text organized. Some of the other things that Gyst enables you to do include; Ensuring easy follow-up of your text by enabling you prioritize texts as well as use labels to organize your texting inbox. This could be according to topics, clients, projects or even friends & family. The app’s search engine allows you to quickly find texts by label, priority & attachments.

Gyst will also give you access & integration between texting & your calendar hence, helping you manage your calendar faster. The app will also enable you to turn a text into a ‘To Do’ on your Task list. In addition, it allows you to send broadcast texts with Bcc, add or remove people & mute unwanted conversations in Smart group texting.

If you consider going for the pro version you will be able to:

  • Schedule texts which will then be sent later.
  • Attach pictures & videos as well as any document: be it in pdf, ppt, or docx among other formats.
  • You will be able to send your availability to easily schedule your meetings because Gyst enables you to send your available times right from your calendar.
  • Be able to archive your older texts & attachments to the Cloud which will save valuable space on your device. In case you replace your phone you can also easily restore all your messages.

Gyst is currently only available for Android users. However, its developers claim the iOS version is under development. The current Play Store version requires your device to have Android 4 & up.
