Twitter rolls out ‘Moments’ for the “best” tweets

twitterlogoWill this move by Twitter prove to be pivotal? Almost a day after announcing co-founder Jack Dorsey’s return to the company as its CEO, the company announced it would be rolling out the product formerly known as ‘Project Lightning’, globally. ‘Moments’, as it would be called, surfaces the day’s most talked-about stories in a new section of the app. It’s a magazine-like view of Twitter. This is the micro-blog’s new way of attracting a large new base of casual users. Moments will be available on Android, iOS, & the Web.
