Did Google really release another Phantom update to search recently?

Google PhantomSince mid-November this year, SEO guys across the globe have noticed certain “changes” to Google search. Some have even started saying this was yet another “Phantom Update”. On Nov 19, specifically, many in the business claimed, there was an update  to Google’s algorithm, which the latter had still to confirm.

Some said that could be because the change was not as big as a Google Panda or Penguin updates. Way back in May 2015, too, Google had confirmed a “Quality Update”, about 2 weeks after it was 1st noticed. Since then, such updates have been called “Phantom Updates” by SEO teams.

While Google had eventually confirmed that Phantom 2 was what it called “Quality Update”, word is still awaited on its latest update. If it does, this would be Phantom 3 update. Some Website owners had already started complaining of falling traffic because of the Phantom 3 update.
