‘Flawless’ is a tool that helps you to easily spot visual differences between design & implementation inside an ‘iOS simulator’. Therefore, it is an app that comes in handy to mobile teams who want to design, or polish & improve their apps.
How Flawless Works:
You need to download the app on your Apple Mac before you can access it. You can download the free trial or buy it for a few quids. On downloading you get a zip file. After extraction, move the .app file to the application folder & double click it to install.
To help you in building a perfect iOS app, Flawless lets you choose a design from the interface. You can also drag & drop files on the app’s icon in the menu bar. In addition, it allows you to select one or even multiple designs all in various formats; sketch, jpg, jpeg, png, gif or tiff.
After choosing your preferred design file, it appears on your iOS simulator. In this simulator, you can use either the overlay or split comparison mode. These options will help you in spotting any visual differences between the expected design & implementation. Most of all, you can switch between these modes by clicking on the toggle.
In addition, Flawless App allows you to switch between portrait & landscape screens for comparison. This helps you to check the quality of your design by checking it pixel by pixel.
