TikTok may no longer be called a “short video” social network. The app is now rolling out the ability to publish videos up to 3 minutes in length, which is 3 times the existing one-minute limit. TikTok said in a press release that the extension will give creators flexibility.
TikTok has been testing 3-minute videos since December last. Longer videos were limited to select users, though, but they’ll now be rolling out to everyone on TikTok “over the coming weeks.”
