Nikkei Asian Review reports today that the Japanese arm of Yahoo! will merge with messaging arm Line. The merger will lead to the creation of an e-commerce Site spanning finance, retail, etc.
The Yahoo! Japan Website is managed by Z Holdings. While negotations are on, Softbank & Naver, a South Korean Web portal may end of holding a 50-50% stake in the new organization, said the news report.
