WhatsApp has released a new update (version 2.23.8.2) through the Google Play Beta Program.
According to wabetainfo.com, the latest update includes a feature that enhances user privacy by allowing them to lock their most private chats within the chat’s contact or group info. This feature, which will be available in a future update of the app, enables users to add chats to a list of locked chats, making them inaccessible to anyone else without the user’s fingerprint or passcode. As a result, these chats remain hidden & can only be accessed through the locked chat screen.
