Wevva lets you design & create video games directly on your iPhone or iPad without programming or previous development know-how. It comes with 20+ different games that you can play right away & any of them can be changed, providing inspiration & AI-assistance to help you easily create new games.
Wevva has 2 solution verticals, for business & for schools. Both are based on the Gamika Technologies intelligent game engine, which provides the computational power for the creation of fluidic games like Wevva. Through machine learning, It allows for procedural generation of game assets & user-generated games, including automatic play-testing.
The business vertical lets you leverage existing brand assets & easily publish your games to the Apple App Store. You can also monitor & track the engagement of players with the games you’ve created.
Wevva for Schools is actually an out-of-the-box video game design course that you can use in middle school & high school classrooms. It allows students with scientific or artistic aptitudes to easily get into the world of video game design. They’ll learn important concepts related to computing, physics, art & sound design.
The interface is intuitive & easy to learn, & users make choices via buttons & sliders directly on their iPhone or iPad, without having to write code. This lets them learn in a creative & playful environment. Concepts of game design like responses to player interaction, physics simulation, game mechanics, narrative & sound design… are covered in detail. Tracking of students’ progress is done through workbook exercises.
