Website Visits to ChatGPT Drops for 3rd Month – News

OpenAI’s ChatGPT, the immensely popular AI chatbot launched in November, experienced a third consecutive monthly decline in Website visits during August. However, there are indications from Similarweb, an analytics firm, that this decline may be showing signs of stabilization, according to Reuters.

In August, global desktop and mobile website visits to ChatGPT’s Website dropped by 3.2% to 1.43 billion, following substantial declines of around 10% in each of the two preceding months. Additionally, the average time spent by visitors on the Site has been consistently decreasing since March, dwindling from an average of 8.7 minutes on the site to 7 minutes in August.
