It’s a small yet significant change. Short video social platform Vine has updated its iOS app. Now people who search within this 6-second video network will be served Vines in the search results.
Earlier, that was not the case. Search results were limited to Vine accounts & hashtags only. To go to Vines, users had to tap through to a tag or a person. With the update, said a post on the official Vine blog, when people visit the Explore tab & tap in a search query, they will see a selection of most popular & recent Vines below the sections for accounts & hashtags.
The post further said a toggle switch between top & recent posts will give users options for exploring.
This update will also be extended to its Android app, soon.
