The messaging app by Rakuten, Viber, has added one more feature to attract customers – Viber Local Number.
Viber already has 1 billion registered users. Users now have the option of subscribing to have “local numbers” that can receive phone calls & SMS messages as if those calls & messages are being sent to mobile numbers in specific regions.
Viber Local Number is available to anyone globally, but for now the numbers you can register are in the US., UK & Canada. More countries will be added later.
