Twitter is acquiring media subscription Site Scroll. The announcement was made on Scroll’s Site. The announcement said the service will be going into private beta as it is integrated into a broader Twitter subscription later in the year.
Since launch last year, Scroll has proven that there’s a model that gives consumers a better experience, by allowing them to subscribe to media Sites for a monthly fee, minus the ads. Sites like The Atlantic, The Verge, USA Today, The Sacramento Bee, The Philadelphia Inquirer or The Daily Beast, are now part of Scroll.
