TikTok will automatically remove “offending” videos – Quick wrap

TikTok is experimenting with a feature that will allow the company to block videos that violate its policies automatically when they’re uploaded.

The video sharing app is also changing the way it will notify users when their content is removed.

To start with, the algorithms will be on the lookout for posts that violate policies related to the safety of minors, violence, graphic content, nudity, sex, etc. If it fails to flag a violation, the video will be removed immediately, & the user who posted it can appeal. Users can still flag videos for manual review as well.
